What is it?
The wait is over. Toughest Tribe returns on Saturday, 21 February 2026, and it’s rougher and tougher than ever. This 8km endurance race will push teams and individuals to their limits across land, water, road, bog, and forest in the County Clare countryside. With obstacles like container climbs, wall scrambles, and unpredictable terrain, this is a unique test of grit, strength, and resilience.
Whether you're part of a GAA or sports club, you’re already a workout warrior, or you and your friends are just hungry for a challenge, Toughest Tribe is the race for you. It’s a chance to benchmark your fitness, hit your strength and conditioning goals, build team spirit and kickstart your season.
The winning team will receive €1,000 or a brand-new set of jerseys for your club — plus the honour of being crowned Toughest Tribe. New this year? Solo warriors can now enter as individuals. The first male and female individual race entrant to complete the course in the fastest time, will each receive €200.
Toughest Tribe is proudly sponsored once by PS Carmody, who are returning as our main event partner again this year.
