Summer camp



Everything you need to know before you go! 

A big thank you for booking Kilmaley GAA summer camp. The camp takes place from Tuesday 5 August to Friday 8 August 2025. This year we are excited to welcome over 200 young hurling and camogie players for four unforgettable days of core hurling and camogie skills development, competitions, special sports-star guest appearances and lots more!

 

What do I need to pack?

  • Hurley, helmet and hurling boots
  • Lunch and water
  • A spare pair of clothes in case it rains. Don't worry we have lots of indoor back-up plans for rainy days!
  • Phones are allowed for drop off/collection purposes only

 

Drop-offs and collections 

  • The camp runs from 10.00am-2.00pm each day (Tues-Fri)
  • On the first morning of the camp, attendees can be dropped off from 9.40am onwards 
  • Our coaches will direct parents where to park and drop-off to maintain traffic flow and ensure safety 
  • Collections will be at 2.00pm sharp. You will need to park and collect your child in person

  • The camp is structured into 8 groups from U6 right up to U13/14
  • Hurling skills competitions and games are all tailored by age  
  • The outline schedule below will also include guest appearances and surprises!

How to collect my Kilmaley windbreaker jacket! 

All participants who registered before our jacket deadline will receive their Kilmaley GAA or Kilmaley Camogie Club windbreaker jacket during the camp.

Camp leaders and sponsors

Based on the success of last year's camp, Kilmaley GAA and Kilmaley Camogie Camp are excited to welcome Conor Cleary our All-Ireland Winning Clare Senior Hurler, back as host of this year's camp. The camp is structured and led by Conor and his team of trained coaches. This year we’re also proud to partner with EI Electronics, our official summer camp sponsor. Based in Shannon, EI is dedicated to supporting GAA talent development, making them the perfect fit for this year’s camp.

The camp is open for booking until midnight on Monday 4 August 2025. Hurling and camogie players of all abilities between the ages of 5-13 can participate. Not playing your hurling/camogie with Kilmaley GAA? No problem! All are welcome to attend. If your child is not an existing GAA club member, please contact us directly.

Summer camp registration is now €30 per youth. Click here to pay. Your clubforce login will be required (easily reset if you haven’t logged in recently).
